Important Information

Thank you for choosing us for your next bicycle adventure! Please read all the important information below and included on your registration form.

CONFIRMATION INFORMATION

Upon receipt of your reservation, a confirmation and payment receipt will be sent. Two days before your ride, we will send you an online waiver that is required to be completed, plus final logistical information for your trip. The information packet will contain pick up and drop off information, transportation options for you and your bicycle, and other logistical information.

CANCELLATIONS, TRANSFERS, AND REFUNDS

If you must change/cancel your reservation for any reason, it is your responsibility to notify Electric Alpine Biking immediately through your booking portal, or via email eabiking@gmail.com. We are a small team, and we cannot accept cancellations or transfer requests via the phone. During the business day we are out driving the shuttle bus.

Should you choose to cancel:

  • 24 hours or more before activity: 100% refund, or transfer to another day.
  • 24hrs or less before activity: 50% refund of the activity cost will be provided, no transfer.

All fees paid, including shuttle fees, bike rentals, add-ons, and supplements follow the same terms as above and are included in your ‘total funds’ and ‘activity fees’.

No refund will be given for the following:
– Participant’s no show for a shuttle or activity.
– If a participant leaves the activity for any reason after the activity or shuttle start.
– Portions of the shuttle service or trail activity not used.
– Dissatisfaction with the weather or road conditions. It is up to the rider to check the forecast and wear appropriate clothing.

Should we cancel:
Electric Alpine Biking reserves the right to cancel and combine trips. We may cancel an activity at any time due to (but not limited to) low signups, health and safety concerns, travel restrictions, road conditions, adverse weather, or natural disaster. Should Electric Alpine Biking cancel your scheduled departure, you can choose to transfer your activity fees or receive a full refund.

RENTAL BIKES & GEAR

It is your responsibility to return the equipment in the condition as it was originally rented to you. Please read the full rental agreement for the terms of your rental. If you are late returning the bike(s), it may impact our schedule and affect our other customers. We charge $15 for every $15 minutes past the scheduled drop off time. This will be reflected on your credit card on file.

In order to maintain reasonable activity prices and to support the health of the organization, Electric Alpine Biking can not make exceptions to this cancellation and transfer policy.

TRAVEL INSURANCE

Electric Alpine Biking is not responsible for any travel costs or cancellation fees related to your getting to/from the start/end points of the activity. 

Electric Alpine Biking sincerely wishes for every participant to attend and complete the activity of their choice. In an effort to plan for unexpected personal emergencies, health issues, weather, and transportation problems that might cause you to cancel or shorten your activity, travel insurance is strongly advised.

HELMETS

CSA, EN, ASTM, CPSC or Snell B90/B95 approved helmets are required for all trip participants. No exceptions.

PERSONAL BIKES & E-BIKES

Participant-owned Bikes and E-bikes are allowed on the shuttle and activity, however the participant agrees that they will not be supported by Electric Alpine Biking during the ride. By riding your own bike or E-bike, you acknowledge that mechanical support for your bike is your own responsibility. Charging is not available on route, and you should ensure that you and your bike have the ability to ride the selected trail mileage.
